Guitar Harmony Finder for iPhone

Privacy Policy

Last updated 15 September 2026

Guitar Harmony Finder is developed by høigaard.no. The app does not collect, store, or share any personal data. This policy covers the app and this website.

How the App Works

All processing happens entirely on your device. The melody you tap on the fretboard is analyzed locally, the second voice is worked out locally, and the guitar samples are bundled inside the app. Nothing is sent anywhere. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, no crash reporting, and no third-party SDKs that collect data.

What Is Stored on Your Device

Three things are kept between sessions, all in the app’s own private storage on your phone, and none of them are ever transmitted:

A line is the notes you tapped and the choices you made about them. It contains nothing about you. Deleting a saved line removes it, and deleting the app removes all of it.

Microphone

The app does not use the microphone and never asks for permission to. You play notes by tapping the fretboard on screen, not by playing into the phone.

This Website

guitarharmonyfinder.com sets no cookies and loads nothing from other companies — the fonts and images come from the same server as the pages. Two things are recorded:

Both rest on our legitimate interest in keeping the site working, secure and useful. Neither is shared with anyone. Tapping an App Store button takes you to Apple, whose own privacy policy applies from there.

Your Rights (EU/EEA)

The app collects no personal data, so there is nothing to access, correct, export, or delete. The website’s logs are gone within 14 days. If you have questions, contact us below.

Children

The app does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and post the new version on this page.
